if it was meant to really look like a "Euro" Alero, those corners would be cleared.

If they were clear, they'd be aight. I'm not big into "safety" mods though. Are you going to upgrade your airbags and side impact beams while you're at it?

if you're into putting something on the sides for turnsignals, why not get those LED turnsignal lights that go in your mirrors. i see them all the time on ebay, they look easy enough to install

Thanks for all the opinions...i'll have to put some more thought into it. My buddy's Mazda Speed Protege came with them on it and my dad has them on his Z and i thought they might look cool on the Alero

Are you guys dissing all sidemarkers or just the kind on the Alero up there? I'm not a big fan of the amber, square markers myself. But if you could get your hands on some euro clear markers from a 5 Series BMW and put a white or blue 194 LED bulb (or red since you have the ruby red and if law permits), those would look well-matched with the Alero. But before that happens, the TS corners need to be cleared to complete the euro look.

Kinda interesting how nobody likes the side markers, yet alot of them have put on the OSV emblems in the exact same spot. From a distance they look very similar. I agree that they do look dumb on certain colors (especially silver), but I think they are alright on dark colors. You would have to see them at night to really appreciate them. Maybe its because I worked for BMW for 3 years that they've grown on me.
