Factory 6x9 wiring

Ok so i just purchased a 2001 alero and whomever had the car before hacked up the wiring in the back for the 6x9s. Does anyone know how to put it back together. Everything is intact up till the connectors tuen the wires to red and black Any help is greatly appreciated

No i have all the connectors they cut up the red and black wires. Looking to find out how to put them back together

You need some spade connectors to put the exposed red and black wires into (each wire seperately into its own connector, which you can then slide onto the connections on the back of the speakers. Or you could just tape them on with electrical tape, but I woudn't recommend that for a permanent solution.

Here is a picture of the spade connectors..


If you bought a new set of speakers, they should include these connectors in the accessories that come in the box.

If this isn't your issue, you can try retyping your question differently.

he didnt buy new ones the owner b4 him effed up the ones that were there, just use spade connectors on to the pins of the speakers and your all good.

I said -if-. I would imagine if the owner before messed up the wiring, speakers likely aren't there anymore, and the wiring was damaged when he removed the speakers because they werent hooked up correctly to begin with.
