Cluster lights going out

So I've been having this issue for a while now. My gauge cluster lights like to go on and off randomly... I replaced the factory bulbs with LED's a while back and everything worked well. I've had to take them out and re-solder a few... But I'm thinking now that the metal part on the board is wearing out. I take the back plastic piece off and move the lights around and they come back on.... So I'm trying to think of a new way to do the lights. I'm probably going to buy some new bulbs or pre-wired LED's, slide them into the holders, and wire them directly to the harness on top of the cluster. Would this be my best solution? If it is, what two wires are the positive and ground for those lights?

Drill some holes into the plasic holders and wire LEDs then run wire through the hole. Then just tap into the cubby light.

first, you'd have to open each bulb and remove the metal connections. (don't want to have those still possibly causing problems.) then solder wires to each, running them all to one common point.
either:
-wire tap the gray wire on the gauge cluster wire harness
-the dimmer switch on the left side
-cubby light on the right side

Any black wire, or metal ground will work for the ground side. (obviously)

Yeah that may help also lol prolly work better that way less chance of it comming loose

I'll probably do the wire tap. It would be the best option I think.

be sure to put quick disconnects in the lines... so if you need to remove your cluster, your not cutting the wires.
