seat not latching

ok so my seatback won't latch and just stays forward. the seat will latch properly when I slide it back but the seatback won't latch. it's getting really annoying. please help.

what did you do to fix the problem? I had the same problem but it was because there was junk or change blocking it. Clean and grease it?

With issues like that, it's pretty straight forward. Simple mechanical devices, you just have to crawl around and see how it all works (compare to the passenger side for guidance) and find out where the issue is coming from. It's one of those things that are usually simple, but a pain to fix depending on how tight clearances are to get a good look and squeeze your hands around stuff.

I've had my fair share of seats jamming and what not. Like airrazor said usually something gets stuck somewhere. And as far as I know, there isn't a common seat issue with the aleros, so I can't point you in any direction to a "quick fix".

pimpalero2003 is an unknown quantity at this point
There's little coil springs on each side and a cable seats are easy to take apart also if still had alero seats I'd show you what I'm talking about. Know bdyman rebuilt some not to long ago.
