Gear Indicator

Something is wrong with my gear indicator on the dash board.

It flashes randomly (especially when driving over bumps) something somewhere must be loose.
This happens especially in D.
This doens't bother me so much, but yesterday something new happend,
when the indicator at P doens't light the car don't understand that I have P and I can't open the trunk.
One more problem I have noticed is that when I go fast from P to D when P doesn't light the engine starts acting strange when accelerating, it revs down for about 2 secs and then everything is normal

Sorry for my english but I have tried to explain as good as I can.

Honestly, the first thing I would try would be disconnecting the battery for a little while. It almost sounds like a computer malfunction to me.

That happened to me... I bumped the car in to neutral accidentaly.. and put it right back to drive with out taking my foot off the pedal and it did that.

I've thought mine was changing too. I thought it was just my imagition.

I'll have to notice now
