I had a false floor in my taurus. There were two lids built into it. The primary lid opened to reveal my tire well. Inside of the primary lid was a recess that my two amps sat into. I had another lid on this that just pulled off. It was made of plexiglass and 1/4mdf so that the amps and crossovers were visible. Just be sure to drill holes in the plexiglass if you do this. Otherwise the amp will overheat. It cost around two hundred to build when carpet was factored into it. It looks neat but be ready to add about seventy pounds (I used 1/2 inch particle board) I would suggest doing the side wall idea. This is going to be much easier and practicle. To make your job easier, go to a hardware store. You can get a ninety degree tool that has sliding pins along it. You just place it in along the wall and corner and press the pins to a exact fit. they come in various sizes and shapes. Mine is about two foot long and cost fourteen dollars. It was a life saver for those odd corners. In the long stretches of the car place strings from all four corners of your trunk. This should give the largest rectangle that will fit in the trunk. Put a large sheet of cardboard under the string and trace along the walls with a protractor. This will give you a reversed image of the wall. Just add that to your rectnagle for a nearly exact image of your trunk.
