Installing a aftermarket deck in a 2004 Alero

I have a 2004 Alero and i have a aftermarket deck that i want to install, basically i dont want to relocate my stock stereo to the trunk.

I know that my chime comes through my speaker and i know that i need a chime module

so bascially i am asking for your guys help on which Chime Module i need

I forgot to mention that my Alero has NO ONSTAR or MONSOON SYSTEM or BOSE SYSTEM

Plug in the adaptor, or just twist the wires together, and it should work the same as the stock unit.

Have mine wired up with taps no chimes but doesn't matter

How come best buy said to get a GMCO unit. Is there a difference between that and the GMOS-01?

You can even goto Walmart and by the harness with the CHime box its like 40 bucks or something like that When i first hooked mine up thats what i bought now i just have a basic harness no chimes you discression

id say just go with the basic harness. its like 15 dollars and the only thing the chime really helps is if you leave your keys in the ignition when the door is open or youre running low on gas. chimes are annoying imo
