Best way to remove tar?
Tried goo gone, barely even loosened it.
It's everywhere, little specks of tar. On the glass all around, front and rear, on the roof, rear fender, the doors, and hood.
They paved my road yesterday, and I park on the road, so that's enough to explain why it's EVERYWHERE!
My dad said to use some Wurth Residue Remover, it's almost like varsol or paint thinner, but I don't really trust using it.
What would you recommend?

I'd say get after the city for damaging your car.

Kerosene and gasoline I have heard work pretty well. Just can't leave it on to absorb and ruin the paint. But I've had the same problem before and a buddy of my just threw some on a rag and scrubbed it off, then wiped it with a clean rag. Worked just fine.

wd-40 works good if you don't have access to much else. I've always used gm tar remover undiluted and that peels it off good, but i think they quit making it. A dealer would be able to tell you if you can get it or not. Other than that gasoline or stanisol (parts washer fluid).

Works like absolute s**t once you have used good stuff to compare it too.
