Painted Headlight bezel and interior led questions

Do you just paint the outside chrome? Or the reflectors by the bulbs and the outside?

Also, is it a tedious process to remove them?

I have blue LED's all around my interior, but some of them I had to sand to make it unfocused. When I did the sanding, the bulb went foggy, is there a way to fix this? I've tried using finer sand paper, and even buffing it, with no prevail.

Also, my dome light is the only light that is still the original bulb. I'm worried that if I get a blue one, it won't be good for seeing around in the at at night. Would one recommend a brigh white LED?

Just the reflectors and it really isn't that bad.

Get a cool-white LED dome from oznium, it's like 15 bucks and looks goood. It will go well with the blue while still providing good light for you to see. And I'm not just saying this, it's the set up I have in my car, and the cool-white is way better than the yellowish stock bulb.

It's hard to tell on those pics, but are the 2 outside light cubbies painted on the inside? And the inside 2 are left as reflective?
Does the headlight assembly come apart, and the piece everybody paints come right off of the assembly? It's hard to tell.

it looks like the outside two "cubbies" are painted. i painted mine as well (matte black on a white car). when you take the headlight apart, the chrome part with those 2 cubbies comes off with the front clear cover. mine was a huge pita to separate, and i ended up breaking some of the plastic. others may have had a much easier time tho, i usually have more issues than i should with simple stuff.

Just don't know if I should go black, white, or electric blue.

I got paint that's matched to my VIN, but the colour is off a bit. Would it be that noticeable? I'll try and post a pic of a repair I did with it. You can't really tell the difference until your close.

That is an extremely slick car. I remember googling "alero mods" when i first got my Alero and saw that car, which got me hooked on modding mine. lol

Hectic, I suggest a white LED. I have blue in my dome light and it is difficult to see at night.
