Audio upgrade part 2
Heres some of the new stuff i got for my alero
Alpine type R 6X9s (not pictured)
Alpine type S 4x6s front doors
Some amp and sub deal i found on sonicelectronix.com
2 12s with a 250 watt rms amp (to be upgraded later)
i also have i pioneer premiere head unit installed.
Iam unsure on my tweeter options tho and input would be great.

I have a friend with the same sub/amp combo in her trail blazer sounds good even from a block and a half away. she told me it was the best $220 she'd spent

don't bother with tweeters, until you get full components + amp for the fronts.
then go 5.25" components w/ tweeters. its day and night better than the 4x6s

well i installed everything and i cant get power to the amp!! Now ive done many installs before and iam not new to this stuff. I ran the power wire through a gromit i found near the break pedal. but for some reason the wire has no power through any part of it. i have it tied right into the positive post. Any ideas????
( i also thought it might be the signal wire but i wierd it into the igniton wire to be sure and still nothing)

multimeter, test both lines for 12V. if both have power, then your amp is bad.

depends on how corroded. and are you just jamming the wire into the terminal, or are you using a proper connector for that type of socket?
