the difference is their "w" design, instead of the ends of the belt coming to a point like typical belts, its a double point which supposedly reduces noise...

I installed the same belt on mine, it seems that it is coated in some type of fabric to make it quieter, it works perfectly fine-six months and still no noise. the original belt is a dayco anyway and I never had aproblem with the stock one so I don't expect anything diffrent fom this one.

I don't know why we quit carrying Gatorback, they were the best shit ever. The new Daycos seem to be cheap with a high price.

You know I work there right? If we still carry them, they're VDP. There are no Gatorbacks left in the shelving, it's all Valucraft, Duralast, and Dayco.
I've always used the Gatorback. I got mine just before we stopped carrying them.

One's 0.3 inches longer than the other... not like it's going to make any kind of difference.

I might buy it just because it might be the only good domestic belt I can get:
Made in the USA
Gatorbacks are Made in Mexico and cost about the same.
