clear coats?

anybody know if the high-temp clear coats yellow over time, or do they stay clear fairly well? reason I ask...I'm gonna "clean up" my badly rashed wheels and they are currently powder coated...and the look I'm going for would involve leaving some of that coat on...so the clear should help prevent further chipping.

I don't think it does. Yet I only use hi temp clear on things that get hot. Rims don't really get hot. But I don't think it would matter.

I had high temp clear coat on my calipers for a while..... stayed nice and clear for a couple years.

(probably longer, it cracked some and they i had to replace both due to being "frozen"... it was clear until then)
