box near coolant res?

whats the box right next to the coolant res above the motor mount? is it safe to disconnect while the car is off without hurting anything?

DO NOT PULL THE CABLE OUT OF THE CRUISE BOX!!! Unpluging the wiring hardness is OK

I could never get it to work again.

NBD. Bought a new box w/cable at the junkyard and took all of 3 mintues to put it in the car
