I replaced all the 194's with blue led's and put the white overlays on. Made the needles glow. Luck maybe?

RADAR DETECTOR location is wrong. I would relocate that radar detector at the top of the windshield just below the tint line. You are hindering your radar detector with it so low. Everyting else looks good though!

I wish I had room for it up there...my remote start/alarm antenna is already there. I haven't seen much "hindering" where it is though, it starts going off almost a half mile before I get to intersections with radars...I think ill leave it here for now. That KS for the advice tho, next one ill put up there.

Cut the cigarette lighter off, added an inline 10a fuse to the positive wire, spliced poz and neg wires to a switch (picture 4 in the original post, right side of my shift cover) and ran power to my drivers fuse box turn signal fuse with an add-a-fuse thing from auto zone. All in all took me about 2 hours.

Or you could just piggy back off of another fuse with it. If you dont want to have to remember to switch it off when the car is turned off, you tap into a fuse that comes on with the car only, like the wiper fuse. You can get "add-a-fuse) taps so it will use your wiper fuse and add a new fuse for your radar detector wire hot. You could also wire it to a switch if you wanted that function, this also allows you to keep the cigarette lighter.
Unless I am missing something, that seems better to me. More wire to run, but...

Mine goes off when the ignition is off, the switch is just for in case I wanna turn it off so I don't have to reach up to mute it. I used the add a fuse tap from auto zone.

Ahhh, all right. Oh jesus. I totally just noobed, lol. I saw the cut the cigarrette lighter part off and totally neglected where you said you used an add a fuse, my bad.
Guages look really nice, I really like that backlighting.

I would have used one of the cigarette lighter adapters from auto zone, but my wire was too sun beaten, it just fell apart when I stuffed it inside the middle console. Believe me it frustrated me cuz it would have been SO much easier lol
