My ABS and TRAC lights came on and now they won't turn off. Is this a common problem with our cars? If so whats the problem, and how do I fix it?
Anyone else having their brake rotors warp every few thousand miles also.

1. Are the trouble lights coupled with either a service vehicle or service engine light? If they are, let us know, we can help you from there. If not, try maybe checking the plug that is behind each of your rotors. That connects the wheel hub (wheel sensor) to the computer. Make sure it isn't loose.
2. OEM rotors suck. Replace them with Brembos or Bendix or some other aftermarket brand. Go to www.aleroupgrades.com for info on tthe Brembos, or go to www.advanceautoparts.com for the Bendix. I have the Bendix, and have been very happy with them. Folks with the Brembos will say the same.

^not much more I can say than that.
I've replaced one hub (other one is slowly getting worse), machined rotors front and back and replaced front rotors plus one caliper.

The SES light is not one. Just the TRAC OFF and ANTILOCK lights. I'll check the plugs and see if they are loose.
I have Aftermarket crossdrilled rotors in the front that I bough t off of some ebay seller..
In the back I have stock rotors. So you think the Advance auto rotors in the back will do the trick? I think its my back rotors that are warped now, even though I just turned them in the spring. It really pisses me off actually.

I just called advanced auto and they have rotors for $30 a piece by wear ever brand. Or Bendix on order for $79. a piece.

That's pretty expensive for the Bendix. But I never changed my rear rotors. I'm still stock in the back with 45,000 miles. And I race also. Guess I got lucky with those ones. Wear Ever should be fine for the back.

Wow...$79 is awful high for Bendix rotors. I didn't pay that much for my Brembo's.

Advance auto used to have three grades of Bendix rotors. I got the middle grade, for $48 / each. I think they stopped stocking them, though.

*hmph* I've repalced 3..yes three forking front Calipers (four if you count the one that leaked right from day one and got brake fluid all over my rim :huh?: ) and the back ones need to be replaced. I have also replaced the pads 4 times and 4 new calipers. Oh ya....I've had the car a little over a year.

My TRAC light has come on randomly on 3 separate occasions. Only when I first start the car, and I have to turn the car off and start it again once or twice to clear it. Very strange, I guess I'm glad that I'm not alone on that one.

My TRAC light used to come on all the time but not my ABS light. My SES light would come to and my Security light used to come on all the time. Now ever since I took my car in so the could fix my turn signal problem, everything is just fine now.

Figure out which hub is bad, and get it fixed.
