Harsh Shifts
On my 2001 olds alero 2.4l 4cyl DOHC it gets to about 3 to 4k rpms shifts like normal then you feel the car jerk and the severity of the jerk is different depending on how hard i hit the throttle. Ive replaced the map sensor transmission speed sensor changed the transmission fluid and filter idle air control valve cleaned every sensor and replaced the Evap Canister Purge Valve Soleniod. Any help would be awesome thanks.

No sensors are all plugged in and new. Its a 4 speed automatic so the only fluid for the tranny is the tranny fluid. Im trying to figure out if its something cheap before i tear it apart.

did you replace the IAT sensor? not sure if they are similar but my 3.4 did this when it was shot and the IAT sensor fixed it.

What you perceive as a jerk could feel normal to me. How severe is this?

Its pretty severe like you can literally feel the car jerk forward after it shifts cause it jerks forward pretty hard.

if the IAT sensor doesn't fix it, maybe your transmission is just going bad

I was told by my buddy to check to see if my transmission lines or valve body are clogged do you think that could be the problem cause i really dont have 2gs for a new transmission. Do you think it could be a transmission control soleniod?

transmission flush - could help
worn cv axle - highly doubt it
MisAdjusted, Disconnected, Faulty Modulator Valve - should have a code?
Improperly Adjusted or Damaged Shift Linkage - no. once your in drive... no moving of the shift cable. set it and forget it. not your problem.
