OK I'm thinking about getting the MSD DIS 4 igntion soon but I have 3 questions

1. other than the MSD DIS box, are there any other parts I'll have to buy? Wire harrness etc.

2. How do they hook up? do the wires from the plug go to the box and then the box to the coils?

3. Can this work with the stock coils?

Thanks in advance

1. Yes you need 3 MSD DIS Coil Interface Module PN 8870

2. All that is involved is connecting some wires and plcing the interface modules onto the coil packs. You don't have to cut or splice into any factory harnesses.

3. Yes I've been running it for over a year with the stock coils with no problems at all.

What do these ignition boxes do for you? I've seen them a few places but just didnt quite understand what they're for.

It produces a more intense spark. You really want them if your boosted or running nitrous.
The only reason I bought is because at the time my job was going good and I was making hella good money. I was planning to get boost and I was buying stuff as time progressed. Well interest rates went up and the job started hurting and never acheived my dream of getting boost.
After putting it on was there was a noticable difference in throttle response and gas mileage. I went to FL in Dec. and averaged between 35-38 MPG.
