How Many Gallons ???

just wanted to know whats the tanks size on a 99 alero ..
wondering whats the mileage on this car and if im getting bad or good mileage

15 gallon tank

15gl i do 236 miles on a full tank i didvide that to get the amount and got 15.7333333 now i dont think thats right

it's 14.3...sorry oldsman. it's in our owner's manual.

The newer Alero's have a smaller tank. 99's were 15 gallons even..

I think the best I have gotten was 340-something on a tank. It was all highway, cruise set on 85-mph, a/c off. Don't usually push it that far, but I missed my planned gas stop and when I remembered it was shorter to go to the next town. Filled up with 14.7 gallons. lol Mine is a 2001 with auto.

Around town I usually average about 225-250 miles to a tank.

that amount of miles is mostly freeway mile i drive to work around 60 miles round trip maybe i should give a tune up and change the fuel filter
