alero slammed!
well kinda I did take my suspension out as it was brand new struts, mounts and lowering springs and didn't want to lose that money since the car was going to the junk yard from the rear subframe had rotten out by quite a bit and i didn't feel it was worth it for me to repair the vehicle plus the rockers once again and I had just lost 2nd gear that month as well ( 5 speed vehicle ).
heres the pics before she went to the bone yard

and here the last one is how we started to bring the vehicle out but it wasn't working so we grabbed a ranger a big tow strap wrapped it around the doors and rear body then pulled with a jack in the front to steer the vehicle.
here is the vehicle I replaced it with....no not the g8 I wish lol thats my buddys I ended up buying another aurora almost identical to my old one.
and this is the fuel mileage I get out of my aurora on very long pure highway trips

I tried it doesn't go anywheres lol without the front struts holding the hub in place the tie rods do nothing for it and steering is useless it doesn't even move very far almost ended up burning the clutch up trying to move it off the hoist.
and thanks i love my aurora as well which is why its my second one ive bought

Ya replacing the rear subframe that's a lot of work and not worth it.
