Did you have anything up on your dash? If you're covering the sensor it could thing that it's night. Otherwise, did you turn the lights on? That's the first thing I'd check. I have a habit of forgetting to turn them off on the rare occasions that I override the auto feature when it's not quite dark enough.
If not either of those, check your fuses and stuff, I'd guess that the headlights fail on.

Yep, DRL's stay on all of the time except at when the headlights are on. They are the instide light, your headlight are the outside lights.

Not necessarily, on newer aleros the DRL are the regular headlights, not the brights.
HAZED- look around when your driving, all newer GM cars will have their lights on whill in drive.

yea they switched them in like 03 or something, DRL's run off the Regulars and the brights are ONLY used for brights.
But yea, your headlights should always be one. They are called DRL's. there's way to bypass them.

i have had the same problem with my headlights being on all the time, not the DRLs. i know it's the headlights because my fog lights are on all the time too. i'm thinking that the relay that controls the automatic headlights has gone bad and they just default on. does anyone know a part number for this relay? where it's located? how to replace it?
