so i've been hearing a definite squeeking noise comming from my driver side front tire for some time, and its gotten progressively worse, so i decide (since i'm still under warrenty) that i'll take it to the olds dealer. they say i need new rotors and my pads are shot, but only rotors are covered under the warrenty. k, fine, no problems. now they call me and say since i bought it used from the dealer down the street, that i need to go to them to have it serivced (and i already know how much crap their gonna give me to get it all worked out, they are infamous for it)
but hell, maybe i'll have them check the fuel pump while their at it.... if i'm not gonna have my car for a while, they better fix every possible problem, not just a few select ones.
which brings me to my next thought. i do need new pads, no biggie there... i'll just get some aftermarket ones, even though they really try to get you to buy the GM dealer ones. what are some decent pads, that aren't really expensive? i'm usually doing some highway/city driving... no racing or anything.
