No, those are the reply ads. The original ads were cablsvision ads, where they have an actor saying they are a fireman or cab driver... saying that "we can't get a raise, get new schools, or keep our teachers, but we can pay 600 million for a new stadium?"
The information they present is completely wrong. The money will be borrowed by the city to pay for their part of the stadium. It won't be taken away from other programs. They will secure loans and sell bonds to raise the money. It is all new money, money that they couldn't get for project with no return on investment. The facts are that the project will add lots of new jobs for people in the area, it will generate new revenue that the city wouldn't have had otherwise, and it will add capabilities for NYC to have large conventions and a super bowl.
I am not particularly for a new stadium, because as a season ticked holder, I don't want to have to fork out $5000 per seat for PSL's. But, I just think that Cablevision is evil for running these annoying false ads. Oh yeah, and that ad supporting the stadium is Fireman Ed (the guy who leads the cheers for the Jets). He is actually a fireman in Harlem.
