i was just wondering if the moderators would mind setting up something simalar to the grandam guys for the people who would like to post their times without any crap fom other about set ups times or anything like that. also i would think that the altitude correction facter should be accepted as well. this way people dont have to drive 500 miles to get better times. it is just a thought. i keep posting over there and all i get is crap. thanks to alero_boy, alerosince99 and springs for thieir support over there. but it just sucks that my times are still being questioned. issed:

I think it would be nice as well. Ill be hitting the track finally next spring with both my cars.
That sucks they're questioning your times over there. I mean you could easily see getting that time by droping altitude.
I'm sure if I was running 14s NA my times would probably be disallowed as well for not being a frequent poster over there.

maybe they think an Olds can't go that fast............LOL (it's a joke)
it is BS. i bet if you even video taped it they would still question it.

i am sure they would have issues regardless. i just think possibly they don't want an olds on the top of the list.
all my times are in black and white they are what they are. the only part that is not correct is the 1.4 60ft and i just found that out the other day becuase someone over there had a friend that was there that night and spoke to the track owner who stated they were having problems with the 60 ft light but the et's were correct.
i don't think the list needs to have all the mods listed that is what the profiles are for but i do think that you need to provide a slip to support your times it is only fair i believe, correct me if i am wrong. i am just not sure if there is room on the sever for the scans or what not of time slips.

I'm all-for an E-T sticky. It would be an interesting read for those of us who don't run, and a sort of "trophy room" for those of us who do.
On a side-note, they way they're treating your timeslip situation really bites the big one s/c, and maybe in time, you'll have a thread on which you can post without discrimination. issed:

no i think they just finally got around to doing it. it is hard to argue what is black and white. they too have been busy as well.
i think it will add to our site to have it posted as well. gives people ideas of what to expect with a few mods or all out like springs when he gets done lol

(8th)+(8th/2)= ESTIMATED 1/4. but could not, and will not be used as any sort of proof (because you need 1/4 timeslip!)
again, this is a basic estimate because of the different powerband of different cars.
also heard you could also take your 1/8th and multiply by 1.58. this seems a little more accurate.
