My SES light came on a few weeks ago comming home from work. Took it to my mech and he re-flashed it. Cost $0

Came on again yesterday. We thought it was a bare wire problem but it turns out that is was code "P0141" which is a heat circut for the O2 sensor. It still meters OK but the sensor will have to be replaced.

I have 57,5xx on the car now, warranty expires at 60,000 but I can't go to the dealer. I watch him reflash it, and it asks to check the rear (downstream) O2 sensor and since O2 sim. are illegal in eastern PA, all hell would break loose if I went to the dealer.

Well not really, but they won't touch the car, not worth the time IMO

This will only cost $90. O2 sensor and installing. Not too bad, IMO

Auto tap your car if you have access, I believe that is the rear 02 and you might as well sim it for 25-40 bucks vs pay for a new sensor that will just fail again.
