I am going to be replacing my stock sockets behind the instrument cluster for the 4 needles with blue led bulbs........if everything works out I might be interested in making these for people on the site..........im thinking pricing will be something around 20-25 bucks but im not too sure.......in the beginning i might just do blue and if the demand is good i will do multiple colors......
I just wanted to if their is any interest on this, so that I can get going.......
If you are interested, let me know what color you would like........i am going to try and get this done soon so I can get pictures up........
let me know what you guys think.......

This sounds pretty cool, but if you change the bulb behind the needles to blue, you will have a blue needle. Just a suggestion. Not trying to steal the thunder. Actually, mine are bluish green to match the gauges. They are not as bright as leds, though, and I would be interested, once you got something together.

i replaced the lights in my dash to blue LEDs. My needles are nice and bright blue, and the guages light up blue as well, just not as bright. If you want it to look really good tho you need at least 5 blue LEDs, just replacing the needle lights isn't enough to give it an even glow. I'll post pics in the next couple days. its not hard to do, i bought the LEDs off ebay for $20, but 5 of the ones glowbot sells would work and it would only cost you $5.00.

um thats the point.........i want blue needles, having the gauges really kills the light behind the needles, and i want it blue to match the indiglow gauges......
I bought the extra sockets from autozone tonight, and they are a lil different then the dealer ones.........so i might just buy the 194 led bulb and pop it in there......ill let you guys know after i figure it out........

Here is what my Speedhut Gauges look like with just stock needles just to give a reference to you about what it would look like with stock needles especially if you plan on blue gauges.

yea thanks vtolds..........the brightness of the overlays drones out the stock bulbs..........
i might go 1/2 red and 1/2 blue.......like the tech and speedo blue and the outside red, just to kinda go with the 2 colors of the guages......
what you guys think??
