Ok, I just bought my car about two weeks ago and the drivers side fog light was burnt out. So, I went ahead and replaced them BOTH with the silverstar bulb. The 893 i think it was. Anyhow. I got them at a discount and paid $12 a piece for them. But, on my way home last night I noticed that the passenger side one was burnt out. Any idea what might be causing this? I know when I bought the car both fogs worked, so it happened shortly after I got the car. But twice in two weeks? Kinda weird if you ask me. Any info you can give me would be great! Thanks!!
Eric

check the wiring...there's a possibility they might be shorting out...besides that, the most simple rule to remember is DONT TOUCH THE BULBS...i'm sure you didn't, but I just wanted to make sure we all knew that.

Well, I checked to bulb this morning and found that the bulb isn't blown. So maybe the silverstars melted the wiring? IDK. Anyone have any suggestions?

Wattage maybe
If the bulbs aren't 37.5 watts, they will blow out quicker

Buying after market fog lights like me. They have been on for a year and they still work the same. They dont look original but they work.

I had the same problem. I remember reading somewhere on a different thread that discussed this that you need to remove the housing if you have condensation in it and silicone or something around the seams so moisture can't get to the bulbs. I plan to try that this weekend.
