Racing Tracks In Pa?

any of you PA residents know of any racing tracks/ 1/4 mile tracks that are open to the public in PA? I know there is Maple Grove, but i'm not sure if that is open to the public... thanks in advance :thumbsup:

Depending on where you are in PA there are 3 Quarter mile tracks in Jersey. I know it doesnt answer your question but maybe its an option.

Maple Grove is open to the public. don't know the racing schedule but you can check their website. Raceway Park in NJ is now closed for the winter. Atco Raceway in NJ will continue to run (weather permitting) through the winter. All NHRA-sanctioned racetracks are open to the public. You can check out a list by going onto NHRA's website: http://www.nhra.com/tracks/tracks.htm

During the season, anyone can race at RP on Wednesday evenings, Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. There are occassionally special events/shows where the drivers are all invite-only but you can still spectate at those events. But most of the time you can race any car you want there.

Acto is open until 12/12, They usually open again in January.

Daytona and I run in the points series at Raceway Park.

there's also pittsburgh raceway just outside of moreville, depending on what side of the state you are on

where exactly is Atco in NJ? is it close to PA?... like... near the border? or is it farther north? i looked at their site... didn't give too much info about it, just directions

It's in Camden county just off of NJ 73. It's the next town below Berlin.

It's only 26 miles from me but it takes an hour to get to. 73 is a bitch, the main reason I drive the hour (52 miles) to Englishtown :rolleyes:
