i got my head light out...and im confused about what one of the bulbs is supposed to do. The bulb that is in the same housing as the ugly amber piece, when is it supposed to be on??? Because either mine dont work for some reason or both bulbs are burnt out and i never noticed it.

It's for the turnsignal/parking light. It should come on when the headlights are on or when u set it to parking lights and it should blink when when put your signal on.

haha
the sidermarker light?
i haven't replaced those for a year and a half
they were burnt out even when i cleared my corners
i put in a bulb a few weeks ago
Now I might be wrong on this but the signals flash from the main turn signal to the sidermarker, same goes for hazards
both turn signals go, then sidemarkers, not at the same time, it seems odd

Yeah, the turn signals and side marker bulbs alternate when blinking. Does the bulb have a silverish color to it? If it does, it's blown. Make sure when you finish clearing your headlights, that you replace these side marker bulbs with amber 194's, as the clear ones might be against your local laws. ( not that they're clear, but the fact that they flash when your turn signal is working. )
By the way, replacement bulb numbers can be found here.
hope this helps bro !
