Horn And Sensor Problem

Can someone help me to understand what is happening with my car?

I have a 2000 v6. The service engine light has been on for about 2
months now. I took it to autozone and they did their diagnostic on
it and said they couldn't find anything, although I know it's coming
on for a reason. 2 days ago, the horn just goes off and I didn't
even press it. After hitting the steering wheel a couple of times,
it stopped...only to go off again and not stop. Well I ended up
taking the fuse out until I could get it to the shop first thing this
morning. This is what I'm told is happening:

I have a relay problem and need a part for it.
the EGR Senser needs to be cleaned and I need a new throttle sensor.

Ok....I have no idea what the hell all this means. I just drive it.
But I want to know that I'm being told the right thing when I'm
looking to get it fixed.

The guy did say that other than that, everything else is fine. He put
the car on a machine and ran diagnostics on it and he says I
definitely need that sensor.

Can someone tell me what this all means.

well just 2 let u know the egr and throttle sensor have nothing to do with your problem.........now the relay part could be the problem but i dont know.......now i dont know if ur egr and throttle sensor are really bad and do need to be cleaned/replaced but they have nothing to do with the problems you are having.....

You may have more then one problem. The check engine light may be on because of the EGR and the sensor. The relay may need to be replaced and that is why the horn gets stuck. I had an issue with my horn getting stuck when my alero had 10k on it. It would do the same as yours. I would have to pull on the airbag unit and it would stop. They replaced the air bag and that solved the problem.

Thanks so much for replying. I will continue to check into this. I just want my car to run the way it's supposed to. Other than this, It's been running really well and I'm loving it!
