Do you mean the remote turn on for the amp? If so, the HU does have a power antenna wire. It turns on the antenna booster. It will either be blue or green deepending upon the year of your vehicle. Otherwise, any switched 12 from the HU will do the job. Your ACC 12 will work. The problem is that if your HU does not have a soft turn on (a two second delay) the amp will make your speakers "thump" initially.

Ok...the cars a 99'. I didn't know it had an antenna booster, but you live you learn. Do you know if it should be blue or green?
Thanks!

If you have a glass window then there is a booster. I think yours will be blue. You might check for other threads to be certain. the O3 and up uses a green one. Look in the rear of your car at the window. On the passenger side, at the top, is a connector attaching to the antenna strip. Follow the wires. They will go behind the plastic cover. Pull the cover off and you will see the booster and defog box. They run in the same assembly. Mine shares a black ground between the two. The defog uses a red and the antenna is green. You can then follow that back to your passenger side door, up the dash and into the HU wireing harness. You might even splice into the wire near your trunk to save the hassle of running a new one.

Ok. I'll look for it.
Where do you recommend I ground the amp? Looking for someplace in the truck. Think the hunk of metal where the spare tire well will do?

i attached my ground under the bolt on the top of my strut. sand down a little paint before you put it on there tho. I've heard of people having problems in the spare tire well because of water and dampness.

i grounded my amp on a screw underneath the rear seat....
hey mikegett, what you explained, are you saying you can use the power wire to the antenna booster as a remote turn on for the amp? that would be pretty easy if you could... lemme know

Correct. All you are doing is splicing into the wire at the rear deck as apposed to running it from the HU. I spliced mine down next to the floor where the rear door opens. when you pop up the door trim, the wires are running under a plastic piece in the dip of the floor. It is covered with the carpet until it meets the rear seat. I think yours will be the blue wire. It has a thick, hard, black ground running with it. If you are unsure, poke through the insulation with a volt meter. You should get 12 volts DC with the radio on. Turn off the radio and it goes to about .3 volts.

hey mr. gett, can you help me locate this antenna wire? Here are 2 pics that'll help me:

The above is the side door opened and trim piece removed(I have a coupe)

Macro shot of grounded wire, hope this'll help some how
Will the antenna wire be in the black cable bunch leading to the back? There are different blue wires within this so this is confusing me.

It is pretty dark outside. I will post a pic tommorow after work. I suggest that you first go to the back of the car. Look at the window. You will notice that the antenna (the black strips at the top of the window) have a connector on the left side. Remove the window trim to the left of the window. The antenna booster will be a black box taped to the side of the frame. Ther will be two wires and a antenna jack going into the box. One wire will be a ground and the other a postive 12 volts when the ignition turns on. I believe my wire was green with a black ground wire. You can then follow that wire back to the HU. I think that it is under all of the wires you showed. Like in the frame or under a plastic piece on the floor. Unfortunately, I don't remember where exactly. Possibly the group of wires in your second pick that are coming from under the seat.

If the window trim I think youre talking about is what I'm think about, then I can't get it off without removing the passenger seatbelt (coupe).
