I am considering putting in heated seats, but know little about them, but know they are nice to have in the cold Minnesota winters. My questions are, has anyone installed them, from the kit you can buy online..is it hard? and do people enjoy them? and did Aleros come with heated seats as an option?
Thanks

I also live in MN. And right now, heated seats sound like a good idea.
All I can tell you is that Alero's were never availible from the factory with heated seats.

I know of a couple of people who have put them in other cars, they said the hardest part is getting the existing cover off the seat. Once that is done, you just lay the heaters in place, wire them up to a power source (preferrably one that is only live when the car is on so you don't leave the heaters on when you get out and kill yer battery), and put you covers back on. I've wanted to do this too, especially after being in another vehicle that has heated seats in -20 weather.

Heated seats really make good sence if you have leather seats otherwise cloth doesnt get cold like leather in the winter months.

A heated steering wheel?!? All I have is a fuzzy cover for mine, looks ghey but is way warmer than the wheel alone.
