knocking noise

ok i hear this knocking noise sound like someone stuck a rock in a piece of plastic and is shakeing it any idea what this could be doesn't matter what kind of road im on it just does this

Any idea where the sound is originating? Something could be loose, or it could be a rock inside a peice of plastic

I have the same problem with my car, it sounds like it's coming from the front right tire. I asked grandpa about it seeing as he's pretty intelligent with that kind of stuff....the only thing he said he thought it coulda been was something wrong with the shocks....so i'll be making a trip to the dealer soon to find the problem for sure
