I did a search and it came up with nothing. Does anybody know the part # or lightbulb # for the one over the license plate. I got a 72 hour ticket from the police and need to replace it.

Easiest way to find out is to walk into a parts store and ask them or even walmart has a system/book that will tell you what bulb you need.

This is what I came up with from Parts America I assume they use the same uiniversal part numbers as everyone else.

Sylvania 194LL $3.48 US
Sylvania 194 $2.48 US

This is the part numbers for my 2000 Alero with the 2.4 I am going to wager that it is the same for every year.

Pic of what it should be.

I just replaced mine with a blue 194. Turns the plate bluish-white at night.

For future reference, input your year make & model on this Sylvania site & they tell you, the sizes of all the bulbs for your car.

The idea is to keep it open so others who have similar problems can also be helped.
