I've been looking at Oznium a lot lately and have developed an interest in interior lighting, and saw the cold cathode lighting kits, which are supposed to give off a very nice glow, i have 2 12" blue strips for my computer, so i'm not unfamiliar with them, I was wondering a) how many would be needed to light the interior sufficiently, but not make it obnoxiously bright, i was thinking 4 maybe... 1 under each seat, and 1 under the driver/passenger side of dash? i'm not sure though and B) anyone have it done to their car? I could really use some feedback or info on them, thanks all! keep modding

if you get cathodes you should find some sort of controller, so you can adjust the brightness, they're way too bright when running on 12v.

Do you have them anywhere else on your Eclipse? I keep flip flopping between ceiling and floor, i may just try for both, 2 under dash, 2 by the seats in the back seat area, and 2 up top... I'm really stumped here... lol

i wouldn't put them on the ceiling... if you look right into them, you'd have little glowing spots infront of yours eyes for a few hours. (when dark, and they are lighted.) i put one on each side of the center console, most of the light is covered, but it lights up the foot area pretty good.

if you find out a good way for the back seat, let me know. the lights are pretty fraile so i want to mount some in my back seat w/o running the risk of breaking them.

also, i'd suggest just pulling the bulb out of the dome light and replacing it. its much easier. i think advance auto has some...

Those are the only ones I have in the car. Id go like pimp had his. The ones from your computer will work also. They come from oznium with the computer connector anyway. The brightness will be the same.
