does any one know if the new ps2 will fit in the glove compartment, also any ideas on a "rack" to keep it from over heating? any ideas? thanks in advance.

with minor modifications it could fit and i mean minor, you can get it in there but its so tight that you cant flip open the cover to drop a new game in........thats where i wanted to put mine but it just wont fit.....

underneath the passenger seat towards the back, its not perfectly mounted down just because im lazy but it fits....

Sure it stands up. New PS2 Stand Not sure if works standing up and I dont think Iam willing to try with my new one.

Any other ideas of where it would fit? a tape measure will only give me an IDEA of where to put it, since the top opens and everything.......

Mount it in your trunk and run controller extensions up to the front and mold them into the dash along with a reset and ON/OFF switch.

I have a 2.4 ghz wireless remote, but i don't want it to be in the trunk........ any other ideas...is there a way to make the glove compartment bigger?

what if u could mount it in the center console just underneath the stereo by the shifter. then that would mean u would have to make a new center console... is that a cool idea?

u cant run extensions from the power/reset


its a cable ribbon.....im working on extending mine now

that would be sweet if i could mount it in front of the shifter, but i don't think it would fit there (too wide).... hmmmm i will have to work something out win i get it, then i will post were i put it.

why don't you just gut the glove compartment and put it in there...build a housing so you can still let air get behind it and make it so you can still open and close the door?

silent, you need the cordless controllers, it would get rid of those tacky wires

its not there anymore

my ps2 is gutted and im molding it inot the back end of the center console, lol


but ya my controller wires are being soldered through the rear of the controller ports

You can mount a mini under the dash like that becuase the top open like the old PSX/PSone. I guess he could stand it up and from what I ahve heard they do play standing up.

I like this idea i might try it when i get the new ps2 (getting it for my bday feb 19th). thanks for the help and if you have more ideas lemme know. Also i have the wireless, so it doesn't have to be too close.
