Someone broke into my car yesterday and stole my Sony stereo. They have done bad marks on the "leather" around the stereo console (I'll have to change almost the copletely dash). The have broken the plastic in the middleconsole. They didn't even take time to unscrew the radio so they have broken the plastic stereo holders behind the dash.

But this is things I can repair. (I hope)
Whats worse is that they have cut of the stereo connector, so now I only have a lot of different cables in different colors. Is there any easy way to replace this connector (is it connected anywhere else) Or do I have to test every single cable to get it right? That would be hard work!!
I really hope these cables are connected to the car via another connector.

Good God. What is up with people. I just hope that you can get everything put back togeather properly. I have been lucky. The only time someone tried to break into the car, they were scared off mid way through. I would be willing to bet that a GM tech would get you the color scheme for your HU. I asked one for the monsoon amp connector and they were very helpfull. The connectors called a mini molex. Some radio shacks will cary it. Otherwise check out this site.

" We also have factory radio wiring plugs, if the previous installers have chopped of your old harness these are harnesses you can reinstall your factory radio with.. or put your Factory radio in someone else's car! "

just a thought...but if you were to go to the junkyard and find one with the same radio, you could snip off that plug and just match the colors. im sure the salvage yard wouldn't have a problem selling that pretty cheap...
