To those of you who own and have installed the B&M Shiftplus on your ride; I have what seems like a stupid question for you: How's the plug come off of the tranny? I've tried combonations of pushing and twisting ( like bulbs in a socket ), pulling and twisting, just pulling......I couldn't get the damn plug out. I've got the wires run from the inside of the car into the engine bay, and have an extra foot of wires coiled up and zip-tied out of the way, so I'm totally ready to go. I just need to get the plug out in order to physically SEE what wires I'm messing with. ( I drilled a hole in the front wall of the compartment under the armrest, and ran the wires through there, under the shifter console, under the dash and into the engine compartment. ) The switch is mounted inside the armrest compartment.

ok, the outside of the plug twists off, where the center piece doesnt twist, like the end of a garden hose, if that makes sense? (this is all from memory, but i'm pretty sure)

it is an electronic add on to increase transmission line pressures so that it shifts harder and faster.
