I just noticed the other day that Impala's have an LED 3rd brake light (or at least looked like it, had the red dots going across it) and they looked like the same shape as our 3rd brake light. Anyone ever try to install one before?

I got the Alero sticker but I've been pulled over twice for it, so it's comin off. The LED sticker is a little ricey IMO. I just need to find a junkyard that has an Impala now...

I was told "you can't have anything covering your brake light", I didn't get a ticket or anything I was just advised to remove it to avoid future trouble.

thats BS to the fullest, tell the cop next time to show you that law in the book?
I can almost guarantee you he's lying!! As long as you can see red becasue also its in reality an auxilary brake light, your pirmary brake lights are on your outter tails. Seriously i wish a cop would tell me that.

Yeah some cops are just a-holes. The first time I got pulled over for it, I noticed the cop follow me out of a bar. Tells me he pulled me over because of the brake light, thens starts asking me how much I had to drink. I had 1 beer with my dinner so I wasn't even buzzed or anything and my breath couldn't have smelled like beer, so he was just like well fix it, then let me go. The biggest ass I ever ran into pulled me over (I forget what), and asks me where my glasses were (my license says I'm suppost to wear glasses) well I told him I had contacts in, he looks in my eyes and says "I don't see them". So I said "well I don't know what to tell you, I have them in" and he made me take one out to prove it.
