ok, i ordered a set of magnaflow double wall tips (http://www.exhaustproslinc.com/doublewalltips2.html # 35122)

i got them today, and the tips are a little banged up, not bad but just a little. i also want to sand them just a little bit, so the tip end comes to more of a point. there stainless steel tips, is it ok to sand them with wet/dry sandpaper? or what would i use?

im worried i wont be able to make them as shinny as they are now (chrome-like) and my dad told me if i sand them they're could be little pit holes.....anyone know?

thanks

I wouldnt use sand paper. Use a steel/chrome polish and some elbow grease. Will shine like chrome.

i do want to take out some material though, not just buff them. they're already shiny, but the inside is a little indented, and i want them to come to more of a point....dont know if that stuff will work for actually sanding it down
