I wish I had done this a long time ago, like when I first took apart my headlights to clear them. I painted the bezels black, including the complete area around the turn signal and corner bulb. There were a couple little runs, but you can't see them now that they are put back together. I know, I know, I'm going to Okinawa and there's really no point in doing anything else to this car, but I got bored today and decided to try it out. It was a very good result. Yummy! I'll have pictures up the first chance I get.

as long at the blub still flashes orange you wont have a problem. I had black corners on my grand prix without any problems.

do you think it's worth the time to take them apart again? I was thinking about doing this and tinting my tails, would fit my whole red and black theme.

Yes I think it would be. I took mine apart twice when I had my alero...second time was even easier...

Yes, it would be worth your time to pull them apart again. It was actually quite a bit easier to get them apart this time. The silicone caulk I used to seal them up was much easier to get apart than that crap that GM used to seal them. As far as legality, I've never had orange bulbs in there once I cleared my headlights. The bulb is much dimmer now because there is no reflection. The cops around here are pretty cool, as long as you are not being a jackass.

Yeah, I agree. It would look especially good on a red car. It would show up quite well.
