So, I did a search because i figured someone must have talked about these somewhere else, but i guess not, b/c i only found 2 threads that were pretty much useless. So, does anyone have these guages . I definately like them. But i was just wondering what people thought about the install or how hard all of it was, b/c i have the feeling its not going to just be a peice of cake. Also, anyone who's done it, how long did it take and what did you need to do it. Pretty much any info you could give me would really help.

i have them. They are a pin in the ass to install, but they look pretty nice. If you are getting either glow or reverse glow gauges, you can make the installation a lot easier for yourself by not having to peel the black guage print back... you can just put the wires in between the new overlays and the regular guages. You can order intelliglow needles directly from importintelligence.com as well.

I got them as well, but silentalero installed them for me. Pain in the butt to install them because the wiring is so fragile. Looks good though. Speeking of guages, would speedhut have the flame background ones for me?

buy the glow guages off ebay, they are almost as cheap as the ii overlays. The ii overlays, imo, are worthless, they're just stickers and a real big pita to install. Wiring the needle kit isn't the hard part... ripping apart the speedo cluster is the hard part... you have to peel off the black thing that is glued on that has the guage markings on it (mph, gas, tach, etc)....

hmmm...well, if the colored overlay's are just stickers then that's no good.................but im not sure how it would look with the green glow of the halo gauges and then like a red glow from the needle, i dont think i'd like that

I'm tellin ya, don't waste your money with the overlays. If you want red gauges, get speedhut gauges in red.... the II ones are just decals.
