Hey, I just bought a 99 Alero a few weeks ago. Its a white 2 door 3.4. It is still stock, but Iam still in high school and I have little money now so I wont mod it for a little while. I dont have a pic yet because up here in wisconsin the roads are covered in salt and the car is really dirty.
Does any one know any thing about wheel bearing because my traction and anti-lock lights came on, there is a small squeak coming from the left rear and I know it is not the brakes. My brother works at a GM Dealership and he could not find anything wrong but the light still comes on, so if any one might know what the problem could be give a shout

First off welcome to the site/family.
Have them read the codes that you're throwing.
As for the squeaking noise, your caliper might need some lube. theres a GM lube set for 5 bucks. I get it all the time, it sounds like an old door squeaking when you break at slow speeds right?

suuuuuuuup! I had my wheel bearings replaced cuz there were out and a funny thing, those two lights started popping up too...every time i shifted into reverse and then when i put it in drive when it rains those two lights come on.. I think it might be the hub sensor, cuz i just got my wheel bearings replace.and yeah mine is a 99 alero as well 3400.

Welcome. I had the same problem and it turned out to be the abs sensor. first the right side three days later the left side went. Thank god it was under warranty because I bet it can get costly to fix.
