i really cant vote cause i dont know the specs of any of em and havent seen anything but optima's. i have an optima red top and have never had an issue with it, so if you want to base off of that...

Scosche also sells a gel cell. my brother was telling me that the scosche gel cell is made by another company, and if you buy the "off brand" company one, its alot cheaper. ill give him a call tomorrow to see what brand that is.

They are a big capacitor, can there be any real difference between brands?

they're all the same.... just brand preference, a gel cell is a gel cell. I got the optima blue top myself. .its the same as the yellow top cept with marine terminals.

Well i found out the CC Amps in Fosgates new battery made in conjunction with Exide Batteries is close to 900. This per the Audio Plus store here. I am gonna go up there and check the tech specs on it. They said 160 is right about what i will pay for it.

optima blue and yellow top at sam's wholesale or a costco wholesale are only 135 plus tax. and the red tops are 100 bucks plus tax.
