Hey everyone. I have a 99 Alero. Ever since I got it, it has made a groaning sound whenever I turn. It does it when the car is in motion and I turn or when its just in park and I'm turning the wheel. Does anyone know what could cause this or what is wrong or how to fix it.

Thanks,
Jon

Power Steering, maby. Mine made a sound when I turned the wheel parked but I never noticed if it did when it was moving. Check you power steering fluid it could be close to empty.

I am gonna go with VTOLDS. I had the same thing and my power steering fluid resevoir looked bone dry. After filling it much better but I recommend doing this asap because you don't want to get bad seals in the PS.
