i know its perfectly normal for tyhe gas pedal to have a little bit of play in it, but i think mine has a little more play than usual, ever since i took apart the TB linkage. like now, i can floor it and the car will shift at 5,250 RPM's instead of the usual 5,800 or 5,600 (1st gear). what i wanna know is if there is any way to maybe tighten the TB linkage line, or something. please help

Check the throttle cable it might of come out of position when removing the TB. My cruise control cable did that
