as dark as you legally can!!! I would tint the backs the same as the front since they are so small.

Darker always looks better. But anything 20% or less looks good, IMO. I think it looks better to all be the same, also. So if you're sticking with legal 35% on the fronts, do 15% on the rest. You won't be able to see anything out of a window with 5% once it gets a little dark. I don't have a problem with my 20%, but I do have to pay attention.

I think that a single tint depth the whole way around looks better than multiple...IMO

Mix and maych dosnet look bad. Looks way better than doing the back and not the front.
Here is 30 or 35% on front
and 5% in back.
Hope this helps..... car was in the shade tho, so looks pretty damn dark all the way around.

Thanks for the input everyone it is appreciated. We probably won't make up our minds till the last minute. I want 5% all the way around but wife wont let that happen. She is the one that always gets cops bugging her. My pick up is done 15% front 5% rear and we dont get bothered with it I run it with just a catalytic converter no muffler, quite loud when I'm hauling anything with it and they don't even give me a second glance. I did the p/u myself and I can't get a pro to do doors any darker than 35% I want the car done well so I'm not doing it. Sometimes it is good to know your limitations.

me personally, i put 35% on my alero. i wanted it darker but my mom said 35% or no tint at all lol. but after ive had it for a year shes gonna let me put 20% on it.
if its your first time tinting the car, i wouldnt go any lower less then 15. unless you like rolling down your window at night at a stop sign. just my 2 cent lol

I'm in the same situation I have an white 4 door and I can't decide to go with black tint or the gray/platinum, here in Oz anything under 35% anywhere is illegal so of course I'm going at least 25%.........cops suck when they do their job.

My transport is done 20%. I have to roll the windows down in the daytime to be safe when backing it up. They have made me take it off twice at the scale house (inspection station). Each time was in the U.S. I got lucky told them it was legal at home.

No shops will do less than 35% on the doors? If this is true and you want to go darker on the doors I would maybe call over to places near toronto or kingston or something. There was one shop here in ottawa that wouldn't do it for me but pretty much everyone else would. I think it's 20% all around.
