so my car is white, has dark tints....will be getting rims quite soon, and im prolly gonna go with a darker colored rim... soooo tan pin striping wont really flow

whats the best way to take em off?

take heat gun or equivelent, and apply some heat to a section of stripe. Peel it up with ur finger nail, and slowly work it off...moving along the car. Than, for the glue residue use an eraser wheel attachment for a cordless drill, or dremel...etc... run that over the rough spots. Then, a body shop grade wax and silicon remover solvent to clean it up. Then, wash and re-wax.

when i first got my car.. i parked it out in the sunlight in like 90 degree weather.. the used my fingernail and peeled it off.. no glue lefted behind( not as much) when its heated up.

thiers a tool called a pin striping remover . It as big rubber wheel that goeo on to a drill it coast like 15-20 bucks. A heat gun will work but you could case the clear coat to bubble up.

Definitely use the pin striping remover like cannaert said. It works wonders!
