***Was Able to Purchase a 3 year warranty through a company these people deal with for 9.99, and its guaranteed to locate you a local shop for repair, its a nationwide company, cant remember the name of it off hand, havent received the paperwork on it yet***

Price: $99.99 plus $24.99 for shipping and insurance via Fedex Ground (received in two days after being shipped)

Install: using the GM adaptor, its relatively simple, although there are a few unused wires. all of them match up according to striped or non striped color. there are 3 power wires that can be hooked up together.

overall impression: provides my auxiliary input for my carputer to play music through it, faceplate is a lot more secure on the unit, easy to use, also includes rear inputs to control subwoofers either individually or as a pair (two sets come attached to the unit)

I might be looking for a new HU...you said this one was pretty sturdy, def. a plus. Do you have a link to where you bought it from on ebay?

no link exactly, the auction ended last week, but im sure they will have more of them up there....search clarion DXZ545 and look for one thats 99.99 buy it now, should be them....

i've got the DXZ745MP , and only thing i've noticed with the newer clarion decks is the mechanism that pulls/pushes CD in or out, doesn't always work...other then that, great decks for sure

I have the 545 deck to great deck and got it cheap , had it almost a year and still works like new (( GREAT DECK))
