OK this is the deal. I cut out my form with cardboard and now I am trying it figure out if I want the scoop in the middle of the hood or off set on the drivers side.
If I do the off set it will be use for a ram air set up. If I do the center it will be just for cool air to get in the engine bay and the scoop will be a little wider and shorter and the off set will be the same height but wider. So what do you all think. Here are some picks

Actually daniel, Robbie had one on his car, although it probably wasn't functional. ( It may or may not be on the car still, but the fact still remains....it's been done before:
To get back on topic: If I had to choose between the two locations you've layed out, with no critisism, I'd have to say the driver's side. G/L with your hood project man...although what you've got going there isn't my style, kudos for being origional.

I would say that the way to go would be the driver side, I was thinking about doing something similar at one time but using the old GTA style vents for the purpose of ram air GL man

I don't think that style fits on an alero too well. Why not try a mustang cobra style scoop?

I would say 442 hood if you are going to anything. The one scoop offset looks like a rally car.

i would suggest doing one scoop on each side, like the 442, one, but have the dirver side as a ram air scoop and then have the left side as cooling, it will prove more than one purpose
