Engine Paint

I went out on a mission to find some high temp paint for my engine yesterday and came up with only the stuff at walmart. I did some searching on these forums too and couldnt find any websites that might sell any. im looking for a purple that will match the body of my alero. So anyone know of any websites where i can find high temp paint or any stores in the baltimore/washington area?

Parts America, Advanced Auto Parts, and Pep Boys. or any local autoparts store in your area should have something and if they dont I bet they can order it.

yeah....i was in either auto zone or advanced auto (i was in both of them today, they are a block away from each other ) and i almost picked some up, but decided not to. but they had purple there...

Dont i want soemthing that can stand more than 500 degrees?

not really, Ive got touch up paint on my raised lettering on the mani, and ive never had a problem with it. No fading or bubbling or anything.

I bought the same stuff but I think it was either 1k or 1500
